Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Engineer (Drawings) located in Nagpur. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and modifying engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Daily tasks include coordinating with the design team, conducting site visits for data collection, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of drawings. The role also involves providing technical guidance to junior engineers and maintaining documentation records for ongoing projects.

• Preparation of AutoCAD drawings of various units of ETP, especially anaerobic & Aerobic treatment
• Detail engineering
• Visit the site for layout finalization.
• To undertake preparation of design calculations for upcoming projects through optimum usage of standard design data and site reports as per the customer requirements.
• To ensure the timely compilation of ISO related documentation.
• To review P & ID, layout & foundation drawings (on receipt of order) for the project prepared by the technical draughtsman.
• To provide accurate drawings to the client as well as to the production department.
• To prepare & standardize bill of material (BOM) / supplement BOMs for projects as per requirement.
• To interact with clients on the phone or to visit the respective sites for any design or drawing clarifications as per requirement, ensuring complete clarification of clients’ doubts or queries and to guide them to complete their scope of activities.
• Supervising the design engineer and checking the design and making corrections if any

Secondary Responsibilities

• Preparation of electrical input/output list for control panel as per requirement with 100% accuracy and to provide the same to the production department & the panel builder for logic programming & panel building.
• Interaction with suppliers for the requirement of any design-related data as per requirement, with 100% accuracy, ensuring timely receipt of the same.

Qualifications

• B.E. / ITI ( Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical)
• Degree /Diploma in AutoCAD

Experience

• 4 to 5 years in Autocad Drawings of wastewater treatment plant – Anaerobic & Aerobic units
