Job Description

Job Summary: Lead the design, development, and optimization of embedded hardware systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with standards, and mentor junior engineers. Drive innovation and efficiency in hardware solutions.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Understand customer requirements, derive product solutions, and provide accurate effort estimations.
  • Work independently on hardware design and conduct thorough reviews of the team's deliverables.
  • Take ownership of product certification testing and ensure successful customer delivery.
  • Define and implement best practices for design and debugging skills within the team.
  • Foster effective communication, collaboration, and mentorship within the team to enhance overall performance.
  • Interview candidates, contribute to pre-sales, communicate with vendors, collaborate with Mechanical and Firmware teams, ensuring smooth cross-functional integration for projects.

Preferred Experience and Qualification

  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Computer engineering
  • 4-6 years' experience in ARM Cortex A/M SoCs, specializing in efficient board bring-up and optimization.
  • Proficient in Orcad Capture/Altium Designer for precise schematics design.
  • Desirable experience in PCB layout design for electronic systems.
  • Skilled in Signal Integrity, Thermal simulation, EMI/EMC testing, and FCC/CE/UL certification for robust electronic designs.
  • Hands-on experience with Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, DMM, Function Generator, and VNA for comprehensive testing and analysis.
  • Design expertise in digital interfaces: I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB, SDIO, MIPI, HDMI, DDR3/4
  • Specialized in battery-powered ultra-low-power design for energy-efficient electronic systems.
  • Guide teams, led projects with 2+ engineers, ensuring successful outcomes through effective team management and leadership.
  • Effective communication, including customer interaction. Pre-sales proficiency is a valuable and beneficial skill set.
