Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer

Innow8 is seeking a talented Embedded Hardware & Firmware Engineer to join our AI Camera R&D Division.
You will design, develop, and optimize Ingenic T41-based smart camera modules used in AI vision, surveillance, and robotics applications.

This role involves complete ownership — from schematic and PCB layout to firmware bring-up, image sensor integration, and video streaming.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and multilayer PCBs (4–6 layers) for Ingenic T41 SoC-based camera modules.
• Integrate DDR3 memory, MIPI-CSI sensor interfaces, Ethernet PHY, and PMIC circuits.
• Develop firmware and Linux BSP for the T41 SoC (U-Boot, drivers, ISP configuration).
• Interface with Sony IMX / OmniVision sensors via MIPI CSI-2 and I²C.
• Implement H.264 / H.265 encoding, RTSP streaming, and on-device AI processing.
• Handle power-rail sequencing, PoE integration, and thermal optimization.
• Validate design for signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and camera stability.
• Conduct hardware bring-up, firmware debugging, and system validation tests.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for end-to-end product assembly.
• Document schematics, BOMs, firmware versions, and test reports.

Required Skills

• PCB Design Tools: KiCad / Altium / OrCAD (DDR + MIPI routing experience).
• Firmware Languages: C / C++, Embedded Linux, Device Drivers.
• SoC Experience: Ingenic T31/T40/T41 (BSP, ISP, and SDK integration).
• Protocols: MIPI-CSI2, I²C, SPI, UART, Ethernet (RGMII/MII).
• Power Design: Buck / LDO regulators, PoE PD, analog rails (1.2 V, 1.35 V, 2.8 V).
• Testing Tools: Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, JTAG, UART debug console.
• Video Streaming: RTSP, ONVIF, H.264/H.265, ISP tuning.
• Bonus: AI inference (TensorFlow Lite / Magik SDK) or camera sensor calibration.

Education

B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Embedded Systems
Advanced courses in PCB Design or Embedded Linux are a plus.

Salary:
30000-50000 (as per experience)
