Role Overview

Senior DevOps

You’ll collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and QA teams, mentor other engineers, and ensure we stay ahead of attackers while enabling developers to ship faster and safer.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Cloud:

1. Architect, provision, and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, Redis, Redshift, CloudWatch, VPC etc.).
2. Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and automate environment provisioning.
3. Drive

   cost optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery (BCP/DR)

   strategies.

• CI/CD & Automation:

1. Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) for faster, safer deployments.
2. Enforce staging–production parity and ensure zero-downtime releases.
3. Automate recurring ops tasks with scripting (Bash/Python/Go).

• Security & Compliance:

1. Configure and monitor Cloudflare (WAF, DDoS protection, caching/CDN, SSL/TLS).
2. Establish security best practices for secrets, tokens, and encryption.
3. Design and maintain

   ISO 27001-compliant infrastructure

   with continuous security monitoring.

• Observability & Reliability:

1. Set up dashboards, alerts, and traces using Prometheus, Grafana (Custom Dashboards), OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog, Sentry, CloudWatch.
2. Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
3. Champion

   SRE principles

   (availability, latency, error budgets).

• Collaboration & Leadership:

1. Work cross-functionally with developers and QA to streamline releases.
2. Mentor junior DevOps engineers and spread DevOps/DevSecOps practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with

  AWS

  (networking, compute, databases, IAM, security).
• Strong in

  Docker & Kubernetes

  orchestration.
• Proven expertise with

  Nginx/Apache

  reverse proxies, SSL, and routing.
• Skilled in

  IaC

  (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Pulumi).
• Strong background in

  CI/CD

  (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Experience implementing

  monitoring, logging, and alerting

  at scale.

• DAST, SAST & IAST

• Solid understanding of

  network security, encryption protocols, TLS/SSL

  , and compliance frameworks.
• Exposure to

  ISO 27001, BCP/DR, and security hardening

  in production environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
• FinOps / cloud cost management experience.

Previous fintech or highly regulated industry experience.
