Job Description

The Senior DevOps Engineer has an elevated role in bridging the gap between development and the networking areas of focus; main areas of focus are around low-level infrastructure and monitoring of all company services. This role is responsible for ownership of the build and deployment pipelines of our products, taking the lead in advising in the product and application development as necessary. Full-time | Hybrid - 3 days in office | Based out of Hyderabad, India Rs.12-20LPA (based on experience) Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Collaborate on requirements with internal and external clients, providing a high level of service and using sound judgement when making or influencing the decisions of others. Responsible for the design, development, testing, and performance of our build, deployment, and networking layers of the platform/infrastructure being built. Implement and manage the CI/CD pipelines to contribute to the overall product roadmaps of both internal and external 3rd party systems by providing seamless build and deployment processes. Tune monitoring of application, systems, or AWS metrics, improving our internal automation through the use of ā€œInfrastructure as Codeā€ tools. Responsible for handling escalated issues related to team projects, collaborating with management as needed. Design, develop and implement infrastructure cost-savings measures. Identify and debug issues in production, resolve, and work to prevent their reoccurrence. Be a resource for development teams; provide a specific focus on improving reliability and performance. Assist management with interviewing candidates, training team members, planning, assigning, and monitoring work for the team. Other duties as assigned by management. Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly. Must be able to take direction and work well with others. Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines. Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, application development, or operations. Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of level of degree. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Design software. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
