Roles & responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions using GCP and AWS services.
Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters on GCP and AWS, ensuring seamless integration with RabbitMQ.
Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application deployment, monitoring, and performance in a cloud environment.
Implement and manage RabbitMQ messaging queues for efficient and reliable communication between services.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and release management, including integration with RabbitMQ.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
Monitor and troubleshoot system and application performance, including RabbitMQ queue monitoring and optimization.
Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards, especially regarding messaging queue security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues, with a focus on messaging queues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the DevOps, cloud computing, and messaging queue domains, and evaluate their applicability to the organization.

Skills required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, and RabbitMQ.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Networking.
Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Knowledge on GoLang is a plus.
Strong understanding of RabbitMQ, including setup, configuration, clustering, and message reliability.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed, cloud-based environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
