Position Name:Senior Developer - Computational Geometry

Work Experience:

Location : Pune

Shift : 09:30 AM to 7:00PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer with expertise in Computational Geometry to join our team. The Senior Developer will play a key role in developing algorithms, data structures, and software solutions for complex geometric problems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative computational geometry solutions in various domains.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Geometry, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Developer or Computational Geometry Specialist with a strong focus on algorithm development.
  • Expertise in computational geometry concepts, geometric algorithms, and spatial analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, or similar for algorithm implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, particularly those relevant to computational geometry.
  • Experience with geometry libraries and computational geometry frameworks (e.g., CGAL, Shapely, JTS, Opencascade, VTK).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex geometric challenges.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development best practices.
  • Familiarity with computer graphics, robotics, GIS, or other domains where computational geometry is applied is advantageous.

  • Algorithm Development:

    Design, develop, and optimize algorithms for solving complex computational geometry problems. Address challenges related to geometric data, spatial analysis, and geometric transformations.

  • Software Development:

    Identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization in computational geometry algorithms. Work on improving algorithm efficiency and reducing computational complexity.
  • Quality Assurance:

    Develop and execute test cases and validation procedures to ensure the correctness and accuracy of computational geometry solutions.
  • Research and Innovation:

    Stay updated on the latest developments in computational geometry research and emerging technologies. Apply new findings to improve existing solutions and develop new ones.
  • Collaboration:

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and domain experts, to understand requirements and integrate computational geometry solutions into products and services.
  • Documentation:

    Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including algorithm descriptions, data structure specifications, and usage guidelines.
  • Problem Solving:
