Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deliver custom solutions in SAP Business ByDesign using SAP Cloud Application Studio (SDK).

Create and extend Business Objects and Custom Business Objects.
Develop ABSL scripts for business logic, validations, and event handling.
Build and enhance UI components (OWL, QA, EC, OVS, and Work Centers).
Configure and manage communication arrangements, communication scenarios, and integration services.
Develop reports, data sources, and form templates (Adobe LiveCycle).
Manage solution lifecycle — Assembly, Deployment, Patch, and Hotfix.
Perform debugging, optimization, and issue resolution for SDK solutions.
Collaborate with functional and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Ensure adherence to SAP ByDesign development standards and best practices.

Technical Skills Required:

SAP Cloud Application Studio (SDK)

ABSL scripting (Advanced Business Scripting Language)
Business Object Modeling and Extensions
Custom Business Objects (CBO)
UI Designer (OWL, QA, EC, OVS and Work Center)
Business Configuration (BC Views, BC Options, Scoping)
Custom Reports and Form Templates (Adobe LiveCycle Designer)
Web Service Development (SOAP, OData)
Communication Scenarios and Arrangements
Solution Lifecycle Management (Assemble, Deploy, Patch)

Functional Knowledge (Preferred):

SAP Business ByDesign core modules – Finance, Sales, Procurement, Project Management

Business Configuration, Scoping, Approval Workflows
Document Flow, Reporting, and Analytics

Nice to Have:

Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
Understanding of REST / OData APIs and external system integrations
Basic exposure to RAP or CAP models

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and documentation skills
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams

Education:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

SAP Certification in ByDesign Development / SDK (preferred)
