(CFD Junior Analyst)
Job Responsibility:
1. Ensure simulation problem definition, appropriateness, adequacy of simulation scope, correctness & completeness of CFD analysis.
2. Interact with internal customers to seek opportunities to lead aerothermal design resulting in significant reduction in prototype cost, test efforts and development timeline.
3. Interpret CFD results from external aerodynamics, water dirt management, thermal management, and heat exchangers performance point of view to identify issues and implement / suggest cost effective solutions.
4. Provide accurate and detailed reports of CFD results, providing recommendations & design directions for improvements.
5. Assure robust and optimized design through simulation techniques.
6. Work-out feasible design solutions along with design team to all identified risks.
7. Support investigations pertaining to performance lapses identified during physical validation by providing in-depth understanding of physics involved. Perform correlation activity in test Vs CFD results to fine tune CFD model
8. Support vehicle development process to meet project timelines.
9. Continuous focus on future trends in the field of Aerothermal and CFD techniques to maximize benefits from latest technologies.
10. Drive process automations to productionize new capabilities and develop new process documents.
Minimum Qualification & Specialization (e.g. BE-Mech, MTech):
MTech/post graduation - Mechanical/Automobile-with 2.5+years of experience in Vehicle level CFD analysis for Aerodynamics. Underhood thermal and Water dirt management
Primarily Skill :
1.In-depth knowledge of Pre-processing tool like ANSA, HM.
2. In depth knowledge on CFD solver and post processing tool like Fluent Ansys / Dassault Powerflow/ Altair NanoFluidX
Secondary Skill :Good communication skill,Planning,Timely delivery of project.
Domain Knowledge
1. In-depth knowledge of model clean up and CFD mesh generation ( surface& volume)
2. Expertise in Executing and analysing CFD load cases for domains like External aero, Underhood thermal and water dirt management
3. Domain expertise in handling full vehicle level load cases in solvers like Fluent/ powerFLOW/Nano fluid X
4. Knowledge of mechanical and automotive Engineering, fluid mechanics, advanced heat transfer, thermodynamics, water dirt management with strong understanding of vehicle development process.
5. In depth knowledge of finite volume methods, turbulence modelling, structured & unstructured grids, wall functions.
OEM experience candidate is preffered
