To lead the design and engineering of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems,
ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and optimal performance across
commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
* Design solar PV systems using AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and other tools
* Prepare SLDs, layouts, string sizing, and BOMs for rooftop and ground-mounted
systems
* Conduct site surveys and feasibility analysis in coordination with sales and execution
teams
* Ensure designs comply with DISCOM/grid regulations, safety codes, and MNRE
guidelines
* Optimize system performance through shading analysis, tilt angle selection, and
inverter configuration
* Collaborate with procurement and project teams for technical validation of
components
* Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process standardization
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical (M.Tech preferred)
* 5–8 years of experience in solar PV design and engineering
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, and MS Excel
* Strong understanding of grid-tied and hybrid solar systems
* Familiarity with BIS standards, IEC codes, and DISCOM approval processes
* Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
