Job Description

Analyst – MySQL Database Administration Job Description: · Install, configure, maintain, and database systems, schema, tables, indexes, procedures, and permissions. · Create backup / recovery of databases for MySQL . · Ensure SQL Transactional Replication (Create / monitor / resolve) is occurring successfully. · Conduct regular performance tuning, indexing, and normalization of database systems . · Develop and test SQL scripts for task automation and reporting. · Install/Migrate/Administrate MySQL to MariaDB. · Ensure server downtime resulting from maintenance and improvements are limited to non-production hours whenever possible. · Db patching and db. upgrade/migrate. Resource monitoring and requirement analysis. Position Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or other related discipline a plus. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration, specifically in MySQL alone. · Must have knowledge on MySQL Installation and Replication · Thorough training and demonstrated analytical and technical skills in installing, configuring, integrating and administering MySQL within the Linux / LAMP stack. · Experience including, but not limited to, MySQL, MariaDB, Linux RedHat, Apache, and PHP or other scripting languages. · Hands-on experience supporting Highly Available (HA) database environments with solutions such as clustering. This should include supporting a (3) node MySQL cluster. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment. · Ability to manage and communicate project tasks, status, and deadlines. · Looking only for immediate joiner. · Candidate should be within Pune location. · Should be ready to do work from office and US Shift.
