Senior Customer Success Manager

.In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer success and building long-term, strategic relationships with SMB and Commercial clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding client objectives and helping them maximize the value of your company’s solutions. By collaborating closely with internal teams, you will proactively address client challenges, mitigate risks, and ensure high levels of product adoption and satisfaction. This position requires a solution-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance strategic account management with hands-on problem-solving. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement in customer success strategies. The role offers the opportunity to influence both client outcomes and internal processes in a dynamic SaaS environment.
Accountabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact for escalations and guidance.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive adoption, retention, and growth opportunities.
- Monitor account health, track usage metrics, and identify potential risks to proactively mitigate churn.
- Advocate for clients’ needs internally, providing feedback to product and operations teams for feature enhancements and process improvements.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and alignment on client objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Customer Success team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Generate regular performance reports and insights to inform internal stakeholders of customer trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex client relationships and driving customer success initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinker with proactive problem-solving abilities and solution-oriented mindset.
- Team player with leadership experience and a passion for mentoring and developing others.
