The Team

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Architecture & Design: Define application architecture, data models, microflows/nanoflows, and integration strategies.
  • Development & Deployment: Build, configure, and deploy Mendix applications—implement UI, business logic, and integrations with REST/SOAP services or OData.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to uphold code quality and performance standards.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical discussions, status updates, and user training sessions.
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Guide junior Mendix developers, share best practices, and foster knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Agile Delivery: Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives within a Scrum/Agile framework.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 3+ years focused on Mendix or similar low-code platforms.
  • Proven track record of independently delivering at least two Mendix implementations as Technical Lead or Senior Consultant.
  • Certifications: Mendix Advanced Developer certification (mandatory) or Rapid Expert certification (preferred). \


Technical Skills

  • Core Mendix: Deep expertise in Mendix Studio Pro, Modeler, microflows, nanoflows, and custom widget development.
  • Programming & Data: Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, and data modeling best practices.
  • Integrations: Hands-on experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs, OAuth2/SAML authentication, and middleware configuration.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, or Mendix Cloud.
  • Performance & Security: Skills in application performance tuning, data load optimization, and Mendix security best practices.


Soft Skills

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful and self-motivated approach to identify elegant solutions for complex requirements.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-functional Agile teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless container deployments.
  • Front-end Frameworks: Knowledge of React, Angular, or Vue.js for custom UI integrations.
  • Enterprise Systems: Familiarity with SAP, Siemens Teamcenter, or other enterprise application integrations.
