Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Audit & Assurance team and support audit engagements for UAE-based clients. The role will be based in India and involves working closely with the Audit Manager in the UAE to review client financials, perform remote audit procedures, and assist in preparing audit documentation in accordance with international and UAE regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Audit Manager in planning and executing audit assignments for UAE entities.

Perform remote audit procedures including analytical reviews, testing of balances, and documentation of audit evidence.

Review financial statements for compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory frameworks.

Analyze trial balances, general ledgers, and supporting schedules provided by clients.

Prepare audit working papers, risk assessments, and audit programs.

Draft audit reports, management letters, and client deliverables.

Coordinate with UAE-based teams and clients to gather information and resolve queries via email, calls, and virtual meetings.

Monitor audit timelines and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

Stay up to date with relevant UAE tax, accounting, and audit regulations.

Provide support in improving audit processes and ensuring documentation quality.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of external audit experience, preferably handling international or GCC clients.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

Familiarity with UAE company structures and free zone/mainland regulations is a plus.

Excellent analytical and documentation skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred or in progress.

Proficiency in MS Excel and audit tools/software.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments remotely.
