WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CI/CD & DevOps Engineer to join our Pipeline team. This role is pivotal in enhancing developer productivity and infrastructure maturity through automation, streamlined workflows, and platform stability. You will enable engineering teams to be self-sufficient while ensuring SimCorp’s hosted environments operate securely, reliably, and efficiently on cloud platforms like Azure. You will be working alongside a team of highly skilled, passionate, and forward-thinking technologists who thrive on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. What You Will Be Responsible For Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or TeamCity preferred). Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using tools like Terraform/OpenTofu, ARM, and Bicep. Mature and automate Azure-based solutions, ensuring maintainability and performance. Collaborate with engineers to refine and implement DevOps best practices. Proactively contribute to code reviews, test automation, sprint planning, and team retrospectives. Troubleshoot and support infrastructure in production and development environments. Promote knowledge sharing and foster a DevOps culture within the team. Explore and adopt emerging technologies to improve platform efficiency and developer experience. Technical Skills & Qualifications Essential: Deep expertise in GitHub Actions and/or TeamCity or any other CI tool. Strong PowerShell scripting skills. Azure cloud proficiency, including AAD, DNS, Networking, and resource management. Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, ARM templates, or Bicep). Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Understanding of security best practices in cloud and CI/CD environments. Desirable: Bash, Python, or JavaScript scripting. Kotlin or .NET experience. SonarQube or other static code analysis tools. Monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana. AI integration into developer workflows or pipelines. What We Value A developer-first mindset and track record of improving developer feedback cycles. Experience working with monolithic and modern codebases (e.g., C#). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Autonomy, proactivity, and a drive for continuous improvement. Ability to collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers. Fluent in English (CEFR Level C1 or above).
