Job Summary:
The Head – Event Sales & Business Development will be responsible for driving business growth by independently managing the complete sales cycle — from lead generation and client pitching to deal closure and handover to the operations team. The role demands a strong understanding of the events and experiential marketing industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to convert high-value leads into successful projects.
Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients to generate new business opportunities.
Independently manage the end-to-end sales process — from client inquiry, concept pitching, costing, and negotiation to final closure.
Collaborate with the creative and production teams to develop impactful proposals and event concepts.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and industry networking events.
Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining regular communication and delivering promised outcomes.
Prepare and maintain sales reports, pipelines, and performance data for management review.
Lead and mentor junior business development or sales executives (if applicable).
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities within the corporate and events ecosystem.
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proven track record of closing deals independently and managing key accounts.
Deep understanding of event production, marketing activations, and experiential campaigns.
High level of professionalism, initiative, and self-motivation.
