As a Business Development Manager at SimplyBiz, your role will involve representing the company in the market, building strategic relationships, and driving client acquisition across various sectors. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying, targeting, and converting mid-sized companies, startups, and subsidiaries in need of professional services - Building and managing a strong sales pipeline, driving the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure - Collaborating with internal teams to create customized proposals based on client needs - Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently You should have prior experience in selling B2B professional services, such as Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary services, Legal, Compliance, or Wealth Management offerings. This client-facing, revenue-generating role will require you to build lasting relationships with Founders, CXOs, CFOs, and decision-makers. Additionally, you will need to understand client challenges across accounting, taxation, compliance, and legal areas to position relevant solutions effectively. Furthermore, you will be expected to attend networking events, startup forums, and industry summits to represent SimplyBiz and develop partnerships with VCs, accelerators, law firms, investment bankers, and consultants. Sales enablement and reporting will also be a crucial part of your role, involving maintaining and updating CRM for lead tracking, collaborating with marketing teams for campaigns and events, and providing market feedback to refine services and GTM strategy.
