- Own and grow a global pipeline for cross-industry quantum-AI solution programs — drive discovery → validation → scoping → proposal → PoC/PoT → pilot → multi-year engagements.
- Engage CXOs, R&D heads and innovation leaders to create executive-level buy-in and sponsor lighthouse quantum programs with clear ROI metrics.
- Translate complex industry pain points into techno-business solution concepts and pragmatic quantum-enabled architectures that de-risk adoption.
- Lead cross-functional pursuit teams (product, engineering, cloud, consulting partners) to scope technical validation plans and deliver pilots at scale.
- Negotiate commercial frameworks for high-value transformation deals; manage handover to sales/legal for closure and drive revenue recognition targets.
- Build strategic alliances with consulting firms, system integrators, national labs and cloud partners; represent the organisation in policy and standards forums.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 15-20+ years of enterprise solutions business development experience with a proven track record of multi-million-dollar deals and complex pursuits across global accounts.
- Domain fluency across relevant verticals: life sciences, materials/chemicals, logistics, finance, energy, and government R&D.
- Proven ability to map business outcomes to quantum/quantum-AI interventions and build quantifiable ROI cases for executive stakeholders.
- Strong techno-business proposal development, strategic account management and enterprise solution selling capabilities.
- Experience managing PoC/PoT and pilot delivery across multi-stakeholder environments and converting pilots into multi-year programs.
- Established global network with C-level executives, national labs, system integrators and consulting partners; strong negotiation and stakeholder-management record.
Preferred
- Hands-on exposure to quantum computing platforms, hybrid quantum-classical approaches or familiarity with Qiskit / Cirq / D-Wave ecosystems.
- Experience with cloud HPC deployments and platform partnerships (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) for scientific workloads.
- Advanced technical background or degree in a STEM discipline and prior consulting or R&D program leadership experience.
