Position: Quantum Research Scientist – Core Quantum Systems Location: Yazhvin HQ (Chennai or Bengaluru) or Remote – India Experience Required: 1–10 years in quantum computing R&D or relevant PhD/Postdoc Division: Yazhvin Quantum Lab (YQL) --- 🔬 What We're Actually Building Yazhvin is building full-stack, sovereign Quantum Computing infrastructure: Quantum SI Chips (Superconducting/Photonic hybrid) Quantum OS (low-level firmware to abstraction interface) VinOS-Q: AI-powered OS for Quantum-Classic hybrid systems VinPhone: Quantum-accelerated secure mobile device VinCloud Quantum Tier: India’s first end-to-end QC cloud This is not a research-for-research's-sake role — your work must align with real hardware, near-term implementation, and long-term scaling goals. --- 🎯 Who We're Looking For — Must-Have Profile > We want hands-on researchers, not just theorists. ✅ Required Technical Background PhD / MTech / MSc / BTech from a top institution (IITs, IISc, BITS, MIT, Caltech, etc.) Strong foundation in quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, or quantum information theory Experience in Quantum Device Modeling or Quantum Circuit Design Familiarity with Qiskit, Cirq, QuTiP, or custom simulators Programming: Python, C++, or Rust (for sim/firmware integration) 🎓 Academic Track Record Publications in quantum computing, quantum hardware, or quantum algorithms Demonstrated project work with real-world applications, not just theory --- 🛠️ Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Mandatory) Experience in fabricating or simulating superconducting/photonic/spin qubits Cryogenic system familiarity or chip-level experimental physics Compiler design or quantum-classical interfacing Experience in building quantum firmware, error correction layers, or quantum OS primitives --- 🧪 Responsibilities Design, simulate, or analyze components of Quantum SI-Chips Work on compiler and abstraction layer for Quantum-Classical hybrid control Prototype and integrate quantum subsystems into Yazhvin’s VinOS-Q Collaborate with the hardware team to co-design chip + software logic Publish and present results; optionally guide junior researchers/interns --- 🧬 Why Join?
