Backend Development & Architecture

●      Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Laravel 10+.

●      Build secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

●      Translate business requirements into clean, efficient technical solutions.

●      Ensure best practices in authentication, authorization, caching, queues, and background jobs.

Database & Performance

●      Design and optimize schemas using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other relational databases.

●      Write efficient queries, handle indexing, performance tuning, and data migrations.

●      Ensure data integrity, reliability, and security.

Code Quality & Testing

●      Follow TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles wherever applicable.

●      Write and maintain feature, unit, and integration tests.

●      Enforce strong static analysis using PHPStan, Psalm, or similar tools.

●      Participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

Frontend Collaboration & JavaScript

Vue.js

●      Build clean API contracts and collaborate on frontend-backend integrations.

Leadership & Team Enablement

●      Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and architecture guidance.

DevOps & Deployment (Good to Have)

●      Work with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud infrastructure.

Core Technical Skills

7–10+ years of professional backend development experience

Strong expertise in Laravel 10+

REST APIs and full-scale web applications

PostgreSQL, MySQL

OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture

Testing & Code Quality

TDD

PHPStan, static analysis, and code quality tools

●      Experience implementing coding standards and automated quality checks.

JavaScript & Frontend Awareness

Leadership & Communication

●      Proven experience leading teams or acting as a technical mentor.

●      Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics simply.

Agile/Scrum environments
