Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Test Design & Execution

• Develop, execute, and maintain

  automated test scripts

  using

  Cypress

  and

  JavaScript

  to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of web applications.

• Test Strategy & Planning

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and identify key areas for test automation across both

  UI

  and

  API

  layers.

• Test Framework Development

• Create and enhance automation test frameworks using

  Cypress

  , ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and reusable. Help integrate Cypress with

  CI/CD

  pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to automate the testing process.

• Test Case Development

• Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts. Ensure that the test scripts are comprehensive, easy to maintain, and align with business requirements.

• Bug Tracking and Reporting

• Identify, report, and track defects found during automated testing. Work with developers to reproduce issues and ensure that issues are resolved.

• Test Maintenance

• Update and maintain existing automation tests to adapt to new application features, improvements, or updates in the development cycle.

• Collaboration

• Work closely with the development team to ensure the

  testability

  of new features. Provide feedback and ensure that the development team adheres to quality standards.

• Performance Testing (Optional)

• Execute performance tests to validate the performance of critical business flows.

• Continuous Learning

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in test automation, Cypress, and JavaScript. Share knowledge with peers and mentor junior engineers
