How you'llspend your time: Reviewing financial statements of commercial and financial serviceclients for compliance with professional and Firm standards, including engagement team interaction Reviewing workingpapers and complexaccounting transactions for completeness and accuracy Creating and implementing specificproactive Firm-wide policiesand concepts that continuously improve the quality of our Audit and Accounting practice. Assisting in the planningand execution of various projectsto provide support in connection with our internal inspections and targeted binder inspections. Assisting with other specifictechnical projects as requested, such as independence matters, research projects, Quality Control Document revisions, training initiatives, etc. Demonstrating competency of technical skills,work quality, and the application of professional and Firm standards Promoting and monitoring compliance with regulations and ethical standards set forth by the Firm and other governing bodies. Developing professionally through reading, attending trainings/seminars/CPE, and accepting challenging projects Understanding generalbusiness trends and how they may relate to clientneeds/issues Assisting in project drivenfunctions performed arounddata analysis and reporting to Management Assisting and leading in the binder review and engagement cleanupprocess Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification, hands-on experience with a U.S. accounting firm Experience in project management or involvement in internal projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience in data analytics and automation. Strong and up-to-date technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS, with current CPE credits reflecting this expertise. Experience in audits of commercial entities, financial services, and employee benefit plans. Ability to research complex accounting and auditing issues, including those related to GAAP, GAAS, SSARS (compilation and review), SEC, and PCAOB regulations. Solid understanding of AICPA independence and quality control standards Direct experience with SEC and PCAOB filings A proactive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond. Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative team approach.
