Senior Associate Level 1

As a Senior Associate in the Transfer Agency Trade Processing Team at Apex Group, your role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities: - Processing of Financial & Non-Financial transactions through internal systems as per regulatory and client requirements - Identifying and resolving problems within defined procedures - Completing archiving of investor and client documentation to ensure a full audit trail exists - Working on initiatives and Ad-hoc requirements as per business needs - Working independently while also being a good team player - Identifying process gaps and troubleshooting - Supporting, guiding, and training other team members - Understanding and handling complex queries - Demonstrating strong domain knowledge and understanding of the TA business - Preparing and reviewing SOPs/Process flow charts - Implementing various process controls - Providing innovative ideas for process enhancements - Understanding regulatory and audit requirements to ensure fulfillment - Prioritizing multiple tasks using effective time management skills Qualification and Experience: - Prior Transfer Agency processing experience required - Bachelor's Degree in Commerce desired - 5-10 years of relevant experience Skills Required: - Strong analytical skills - Proficiency in navigating a windows environment - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word - Clear and concise written communication skills - Proficiency in English language - Strong research, resolution, and communication skills - Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and problem resolution - Presentation, listening, and oral & written communication skills - Self-management, adaptability, resilience, and integrity - Performance standards, achieving results, and persistence - Creative thinking, decision making, logical thinking, and solution finding - Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks - Flexibility to work in shifts as per business needs - Understanding of effective risk management - Effective verbal reasoning and numeric skills - Planning and organization skills - Understanding the intricacies of TA business & its impact on related functions Your career with Apex Group offers a unique opportunity to be part of a large global business, exposure to all aspects of the business, cross-jurisdictional work, and direct interaction with senior management.
