Role Overview:

MicroStrategy Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, documents, and dossiers.
Design schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies) and application objects (metrics, filters, prompts).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable BI solutions.
Optimize performance of MicroStrategy applications and ensure data accuracy.
Manage user roles, security configurations, and project settings.
Integrate MicroStrategy with various data sources including cloud and on-premise databases.
Support data modeling and ETL processes in collaboration with data engineering teams.
Contribute to BI best practices and mentor junior team members (for SA level).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4–9 years of hands-on experience in MicroStrategy development and administration.
Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Experience with dimensional modeling and schema design.
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

MicroStrategy certifications (Developer, Architect, Administrator).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Domain experience in finance, healthcare, retail, or telecom.
