Senior Android Engineer

Role Summary

Senior Android Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and build advanced Android applications.
Lead and mentor engineers through code reviews, best practices, and design feedback.
Deploy apps to Google Play, AppCenter, and internal release channels.
Review upcoming designs for conformance to Android UX guidelines.
Triage and resolve customer feedback, crash reports, and incidents.
Drive code performance, automation, and test coverage.
Monitor and optimize app performance using instrumentation.
Evaluate emerging Android SDKs and cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform).

Key Skills & Requirements

15+ years
of software engineering experience, with expertise in
Kotlin, Java, Android SDKs
.
Strong knowledge of
object-oriented, functional, and reactive programming
.
Proven track record in architecting and shipping Android apps end-to-end.
Expertise with REST APIs, multi-threaded/asynchronous programming, and performance tuning.
Exposure to
Jetpack Compose
and cross-platform technologies.
Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams.
