As a Senior Analyst – Revenue Analysis & Daily P&L Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in
delivering accurate, automated, and actionable revenue insights to the leadership team. You
will be responsible for preparing detailed Daily Profit & Loss (P&L) reports, performing
multi-dimensional revenue analysis, and reconciling data across systems. Your work will be
crucial for strategic decision-making, driving margin optimization, and ensuring financial
integrity across all domains—airline, hotel, and ancillary services.
• Own the end-to-end Daily P&L preparation process, providing a complete breakdown of
revenues, costs, commissions, refunds, and supplier charges.
• Perform date-wise, airline-wise, and domain-wise revenue analysis, factoring in:
- Productivity Linked Bonuses (PLBs)
- Corporate and supplier agreements
- Payment Gateway (PG) charges
- Refunds, reissues, and repriced tickets
- Digital marketing spends
- Enett rebates
- GDS segment revenue
• Identify key revenue/margin leakages and recommend corrective actions proactively.
Automation & Reporting (Excel/VBA):
• Build automated revenue dashboards and P&L reports using advanced Excel features and
VBA macros to reduce manual effort and errors.
• Maintain and improve the Daily Sales vs. Payment Gateway vs. Bank Reconciliation Report,
ensuring real-time accuracy in reported collections.
Reconciliation & Variance Analysis:
• Automate vendor invoice reconciliation against daily sales reports; report discrepancies
and insights to the finance leadership weekly.
• Reconcile PLBs, corporate deals, and supplier fees against contractual terms and raise any
deviations promptly.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Data Analytics, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in revenue management, financial analysis, or P&L reporting,
preferably in travel, e-commerce, or fintech
• Prior experience with daily financial operations, automation, and reconciliation
Familiarity with ERP systems or business intelligence tools is a plus
• Develop dynamic pivot tables, visual charts, and ad-hoc reports to support financial
planning and analysis.
• Clean, transform, and consolidate data from multiple sources to build reliable revenue
models.
• Collaborate with the IT and Marketing teams to ensure accurate attribution and correction
of daily revenue records.
• Liaise with external vendors on corporate deals, rebates, and revenue-sharing models.
• Expertise in Revenue Analytics, P&L Reporting, and Financial Modeling
• Proficient in MS Excel (VBA, Macros, Pivot Tables) and data analysis techniques
• Strong understanding of travel domain financials (Airline PLBs, GDS revenue, refunds,
supplier fees)
• Ability to interpret and present complex financial data with clarity
• Detail-oriented with excellent reconciliation and variance tracking skills
• Effective communicator across internal teams and external vendors
