Senior Analyst, Finance & Accounts

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Chartered Accountant/ MBA with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience to join our Finance team as an FP&A Analyst. The role involves financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis of business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a good grasp of financial modeling, and the ability to work closely with business teams to deliver insights.

Key Responsibility:

1. Assist in preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
2. Support in developing financial models to evaluate business performance, new projects, and investments.
3. Conduct variance analysis of actual performance against budget/forecast and provide actionable insights.
4. Prepare and analyze management reports, dashboards, and MIS to track KPIs and business drivers.
5. Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, merchandising, sales, etc.) to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
6. Work on cash flow forecasting and assist in liquidity planning.
7. Support senior management in board presentations, investor decks, and strategic reviews.
8. Identify and recommend process improvements in reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
9. Stay updated with industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices in FP&A.
10. Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for financial statements

Requirements:

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA with 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or related roles.
2. Strong knowledge of financial statements, ratios, and corporate finance concepts.
3. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to financial modeling tools or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is an advantage.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with senior stakeholders.
6. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
