About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CA Inter qualified professional with advanced expertise in Tally ERP to join our Accounts & Finance team as a Senior Accountant. The role involves overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills along with leadership abilities to mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage daily accounting functions including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records in Tally ERP.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management review reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Assist in internal and external audits with proper documentation.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and manage depreciation schedules.

Team Collaboration & Support

• Guide, train, and support junior accountants.
• Coordinate with other departments for financial data and reporting.
• Address management queries and provide financial insights.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage vendor payments and reconciliation.
• Support inventory valuation and cost accounting.
• Handle petty cash and employee reimbursements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Technical Skills

• CA Inter qualification (Mandatory)
• Proficiency in Tally ERP (Advanced level)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and tax regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with banking operations and reconciliations
