Senior Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee site-wise accounting and financial operations for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the construction industry and possess strong knowledge of accounting procedures, statutory compliance, and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily entries and ensure timely follow-up for site-wise expenses (wages, rent, cement, etc.).
• Monitor and process expense set-offs with site supervisors.
• Handle GST billing, entries, and register maintenance for steel, cement, and other materials.
• Collect and verify daily reports from stores and ensure accurate recording.
• Manage bill filing, salary slip preparation, and attendance registers, organized site-wise.
• Coordinate with site teams for record-keeping and expense verification.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including ESI and PF procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Provide financial reports and insights to management for better project cost control.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CA Inter preferred).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, with experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, ESI, PF, and other statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (Tally, ERP, or equivalent).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with site supervisors and management.

Preferred Candidate:

• Previous experience in a construction company is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple site accounts simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and reporting abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
