Ability to do electrical and mechanical engineering works in solar projects. Knowledge to do cable excavation as well as cable lying as per drawing. Good experience in termination of cable as well as dressing of cable as per requirements. Daily progress gathering from the contractors for DPR. To complete the Electrical measurement as per BOQ. Supervision of work to ensure progress as per schedule & Execution as per approved drawings specification. Vendor Development & SourcingIdentify and develop suppliers for electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, cables, circuit breakers, control panels, and other project materials. Evaluate vendor capabilities, technical compliance, and ensure quality certifications. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. 2. Procurement ExecutionReview project BOQ and technical specifications in coordination with the engineering team. Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotation) and analyze vendor quotations. Release purchase orders (POs) in line with project requirements and company policies. Track order status and ensure on-time delivery of materials. 3. Coordination with Project & Engineering TeamsWork closely with design, project, and site teams to ensure material specifications are met. Resolve technical and commercial issues with vendors. Support project execution teams by ensuring timely availability of materials at site. 4. Inventory & LogisticsMonitor material movement and maintain minimum stock levels for critical electrical components. Coordinate with logistics partners for safe and cost-effective transportation. Ensure proper storage, handling, and quality checks at warehouse/site. 5. Compliance & DocumentationEnsure all procurement is in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements (GST, excise, customs, etc.). Maintain supplier performance records, price history, and cost comparisons. Prepare procurement-related MIS and reports for management review. 6. Cost Control & OptimizationIdentify opportunities for cost reduction through bulk buying, alternate sourcing, or improved negotiations. Analyze market trends for electrical raw materials (copper, aluminum, steel, etc.). Support management in strategic sourcing and long-term rate contracts.
