JayAir System Private Limited is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to innovation and operational excellence. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of experience to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in our financial operations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in the accounting field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, overseeing the general ledger, and supporting the financial planning and analysis functions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements aligned with GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close process; maintain balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, organizational policies, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audit cycles.
• Support budgeting processes, forecasts, and perform variance and trend analyses.
• Mentor and oversee junior accounting staff, fostering their growth and productivity.
• Collaborate with management to deliver financial insights and support data-driven business decisions.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax regulations, advising the organization as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications like CA, CPA, or CMA are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards (GAAP and/or IFRS).
• Experience with accounting and ERP systems—such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, robust data manipulation).
• Strong analytical prowess and meticulous attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,105.66 - ₹43,497.30 per month
