Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong accounting experience within the Indian regulatory and tax environment. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting functions, statutory compliance, financial reporting, audits, and team mentoring. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and capable of supporting strategic financial planning while ensuring day-to-day operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Companies Act, 2013
  • Ensure accurate and timely GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
  • Finalisation of accounts and coordination with statutory and internal auditors
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis in collaboration with the finance team
  • Maintain books of accounts and ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance
  • Monitor and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial information
  • Liaise with banks, consultants, tax advisors, and other external agencies
  • Ensure timely completion of ROC filings, tax returns, and compliance with MCA and Income Tax regulations
  • Support in the implementation and management of ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, etc.)
  • Mentor junior accountants and oversee their daily activities
  • Participate in financial strategy discussions and support management with insights and reports

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com); CA Inter or full CA preferred
  • 10+ years of hands-on accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, AS, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP 9, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis)
  • Excellent understanding of audit processes and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines

(Our office timings are 10 am to 7 pm, we are 6 days working. Kindly note that this is a fixed shift)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Gurugram, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Tally: 3 years (Required)
  • Accounting: 10 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CA-Inter (Preferred)
