Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger entries and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate account balances.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll entries, and expense allocations.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and all applicable financial regulations.
• Support ERP system enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Train and supervise junior accounting staff, if applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization.
• Strong understanding of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
