Senior Accountant

Job Title: Sr. Accountant /Assistant Manager
Location: Vadodara

We are looking for an accounting professional who will handle company accounts, taxation, export documentation support, audits, and compliance. The role also supports financial planning and smooth operational coordination with the export & procurement teams.

Accounts & Finance:

· Preparation & review of Financial Statements – Balance Sheet, P&L, profitability analysis

· Finalization of accounts including monthly, quarterly & annual closing
Financial planning, working capital & credit management

· Accounting of export invoices, forex transactions & LC-related entries

· Costing analysis and margin monitoring as per export orders

· Coordination with internal accounts team for smooth accounting operations

Export Finance & Banking:

· Liaison with banks for PCFC, Packing Credit, LC negotiation, Bill Discounting & Foreign Bill Collection

· Monitoring FIRC, BRC applications, and realization of export proceeds

· Tracking advance payments from overseas customers and timely closure

· Monitoring bank-to-bank communication

· Forward contract negotiation and forex gain/loss reporting

· Ensuring export benefits & documentation compliance (Shipping bill, BL, etc.)

Statutory Compliance & Taxation:

· Ensuring accurate and timely compliance under GST, TDS & Income Tax

· Preparing and filing statutory returns within due deadlines

· Handling scrutiny assessments and coordinating with consultants/auditors

· Maintaining proper records and documentation for compliance & audit

Internal Audit:

· Statutory Audit of Public & Private Companies, Banking Companies including CO-OP Banks, Insurance Companies and Trusts.

· TAX Audit of various entities.

· VAT Audit of various entities.

· Internal & Concurrent Audit of Companies, Banks etc.

General Responsibilities:

· Strong documentation control for financial & export compliance

· Maintain vendor/customer records and payment tracking

· Prepare necessary MIS reports and present insights to management
