Job description: The Jewellery CAM Designer / Operator is responsible for converting 3D CAD jewellery designs into CAM files suitable for manufacturing through wax printing or CNC milling. This role includes preparing, modifying, and optimizing files for production, operating CAM machines, and ensuring quality output. Key Responsibilities: Prepare CAM files from CAD models using CAM software such as RhinoCAM, ArtCAM, or Type3. Operate CAM machines including wax printers or CNC milling machines for jewellery production. Set parameters like support structure, resolution, and thickness to ensure accurate casting models. Check CAM output quality and make necessary adjustments to prevent manufacturing errors. Maintain machine cleanliness, calibration, and perform routine maintenance. Coordinate with CAD designers and production team to meet daily output requirements. Maintain proper records of printed jobs, machine usage, and job timelines.
