Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Duties include preparing and analyzing budgets, monitoring financial records, reconciling accounts, and supervising the accounting team. The role also involves supporting month-end and year-end financial processes and providing financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Strong accounting skills such as account reconciliation, financial analysis, and preparation of financial statements
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with tax regulations, financial compliance, and audit processes
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA qualification is an advantage)
Relevant experience in accounting, with prior experience in a senior or supervisory role preferred
