Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Serilingampally. The Senior Accountant will handle tasks including managing financial records, preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities also include budget preparation, financial analysis and reporting, and assisting with audit processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial record management, account reconciliation, and payroll processing
• Strong skills in preparing financial statements and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Experience in budget preparation, financial analysis, and reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus
• Experience in the real estate or construction industry is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting for all group entities (SPVs).
• Record vendor bills, customer receipts, and journal entries in Focus 9 ERP.
• Maintain project-wise ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and cash statements.
• Track customer receipts and issue invoices / demand notes.
• Process vendor and consultant payments after approval.
• Maintain a daily bank position and petty-cash statement.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and ledger scrutiny.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct tax audits (IT & TDS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Finalize GST returns and TDS returns on time to avoid penalties.
• Ensure ROC compliance by filing necessary documents with the Registrar of Companies.
• Support GST, TDS, Income-Tax and RERA filings.
• Prepare working files and coordinate with external CAs for returns.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10-15 years of experience in accountancy in construction sector or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com).
• Strong knowledge of Accounts And Taxation, GST, Balance Sheet Finalisation, TDS Return, Tax Audit, Accounts Finalisation, Bank Reconciliation, Cash Flow Management, Statutory Audit, and ROC Compliance.
