Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the daily accounting activities, ensure timely financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience in general ledger management, statutory compliance, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and monthly MIS reporting.
• Assist in forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, including return filings and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
• Maintain fixed asset register and handle depreciation accounting.
• Liaise with banks and other financial institutions for routine operations.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in Tally.
• Facilitating effective coordination between the operations department and external suppliers.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Good understanding of taxation (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or similar).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Remuneration:

Commensurate with industry standards and based on experience.
