Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations at our factory location. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing or trading sector accounting, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and audit coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries
• Manage accounts payable & receivable, bank reconciliation, cash handling, and cash flow statements
• Maintain general ledger, trial balance, and monthly financial statements
• Oversee inventory accounting, job-work entries, costing & stock valuation
• Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST, TDS, PF, ESI & other statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, CA, banks, vendors, and internal departments
• Support MIS reporting, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and assist in internal & external audits

Qualification & Skills

• B.Com (Hons.) mandatory; M.Com preferred
• Minimum 15 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing/trading finance operations
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel & accounting software
• Good communication skills — English, Hindi, Bengali

Salary

Salary Range: 35000 - 60000 (Negotiable)
