Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Account Manager to manage and oversee all accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing taxation, audits, statutory compliance, payroll, and financial finalisation independently. The role also requires liaison with government departments and handling sensitive financial correspondence on behalf of both the company and its directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage taxation matters independently for both the company and individual directors.
  • Handle GST, TDS, and Income Tax filings, returns, and compliance independently.
  • Respond to and manage notices from GST, PF, and Finance departments.
  • Visit government offices (GST, PF, etc.) as and when required for submissions, clarifications, or hearings.
  • Lead and manage internal audits independently, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Independently handle the finalisation of accounts at year-end, coordinating with auditors and stakeholders.
  • Oversee and process payroll, including PF, ESIC, PT, and salary structuring.
  • Maintain accurate and timely books of accounts, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, and regulatory financial requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights for management decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Supervise junior accounts staff and ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in a senior accounting role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation laws, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act.
  • Hands-on experience in finalisation of accounts, audits, and payroll.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, statutory filings, and financial documentation.
  • Ability to manage field visits to government offices confidently and independently.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and attention to detail.

Other Details:

  • Working Hours: 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM
  • Salary: 38k to 45k
  • Joining: Immediate / 15 days

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
