About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Account Executive to accelerate Freshworks’ growth in Germany within the Commercial segment (251–500 employees).

This is a full-cycle outbound sales role, ideal for fluent German-speaking professionals who thrive in consultative conversations, understand business value, and bring a structured, data-driven approach to sales.

You’ll own your territory — building pipeline, engaging prospects, and closing deals end-to-end — supported by a dedicated BDR, marketing, and partner ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a focused territory plan for Germany, targeting key mid-market verticals such as Manufacturing, IT, and Services.
  • Drive 100% outbound-led sales through strategic prospecting, cold calling, and personalized outreach.
  • Leverage Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce to identify, research, and engage decision-makers.
  • Lead impactful discovery calls to uncover business challenges and position Freshworks solutions that deliver measurable ROI.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle independently — from pipeline generation and demos to negotiation and close.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with Presales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.

Qualifications

  • Native/fluent German speaker with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills — confident in engaging C-level and senior decision-makers.
  • Any prior sales experience (B2B, B2C, SaaS, or consultative selling) is an added advantage.
  • Ability to handle a full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Familiarity with Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, or similar modern sales tools is a plus.
  • Analytical and structured thinker with excellent time management and self-discipline.
  • Resilient, target-driven, and comfortable working in-office and aligned to European hours (12:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST).
