Key Responsibilities: Oversee and review accounting books to ensure accuracy and completeness. Scrutinize ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings for compliance with accounting standards. Ensure timely closing of accounts and preparation of financial reports. Monitor statutory compliances including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings. Support internal and external audits with required documentation and clarifications. Implement and maintain internal control procedures for accounting accuracy and compliance. Identify and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in financial records. Stay updated with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and management for compliance and reporting needs.
