Job Title: Senior Academic Coordinator

Location: Maxfort School, Rohini

Reports To: Principal

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Academic Coordinator to lead the academic planning, curriculum implementation, and teacher mentoring across the school. The ideal candidate will ensure high academic standards, promote best teaching practices, and support the continuous professional development of the faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Planning & Management:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of academic plans in line with school vision and curriculum standards (CBSE Board).
  • Monitor syllabus coverage and ensure timely completion across all subjects and grades.
  • Coordinate preparation of academic calendars, timetables, and examination schedules.
  • Supervise lesson planning, teaching strategies, and assessment design.

Teacher Mentoring & Development:

  • Guide, mentor, and support teachers in pedagogical practices.
  • Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize in-house training sessions and recommend external workshops for teacher development.

Curriculum & Quality Assurance:

  • Review and update curriculum content regularly to ensure relevance and compliance with board requirements.
  • Implement innovative teaching methods and promote integration of technology in classrooms.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of remedial programs and student support systems.

Student Progress & Evaluation:

  • Analyze student performance data to identify gaps and propose interventions.
  • Coordinate internal assessments, report card preparation, and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Facilitate academic counseling for students when required.

Communication & Coordination:

  • Act as a liaison between the academic team and school leadership.
  • Communicate with parents and stakeholders on academic progress and plans.
  • Represent the academic department during inspections, accreditations, or school audits.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Education or relevant subject discipline.
  • Professional Qualification: B.Ed. or M.Ed. is mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3–5 years in an academic coordination or leadership role.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong academic and curriculum expertise.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and manage academic teams.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, learning management systems (LMS), and smart classroom technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Work Location: On the road
