Job Description

Security + DevOps Engineer

What you’ll do🔒 Security (Primary Responsibility)
  • Own 

    application and infrastructure security

     end-to-end
  • Design and enforce 

    security best practices

     across APIs, services, and data flows
  • Lead efforts around:
  • OAuth, token management, secrets handling
  • Access control, least-privilege policies
  • Audit logging and traceability
  • Prepare and support 

    security reviews and compliance processes

     (e.g. Google Workspace / CASA, enterprise security questionnaires)
  • Perform threat modeling and proactively identify security gaps in AI-driven workflows
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure new features are secure by design
⚙️ DevOps & Reliability
  • Own 

    cloud infrastructure

     (AWS/GCP), environments, and deployments
  • Improve 

    CI/CD pipelines

     for speed, safety, and rollback reliability
  • Monitor system health, performance, and failures (logs, metrics, alerts)
  • Drive 

    incident response

    , root-cause analysis, and postmortems
  • Optimize infrastructure costs without compromising reliability or security
  • Ensure high availability for user-facing and background AI workloads
🧠 AI & Platform Context
  • Support multi-model AI pipelines with secure, reliable orchestration
  • Help design safe boundaries for LLM usage (rate limits, isolation, circuit breakers)
  • Work with Engineering to protect user data across memory, email, and workspace integrations
What we’re looking for
  • Strong experience in 

    DevOps + Security

     roles for production systems
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP)
  • Docker, containers, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Secrets management and IAM
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Web security fundamentals (OAuth, JWT, API security)
  • Network security, logging, and monitoring
  • Comfortable working in 

    fast-moving product teams

  • Able to balance 

    speed, security, and pragmatism

  • Experience with AI/ML platforms or high-scale SaaS products is a big plus
Nice to have
  • Experience with compliance or security audits (SOC2, ISO, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes
  • Experience securing LLM-based or AI-heavy systems
  • Background in incident response or platform reliability
