Job Summary

Search Marketing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Paid Search Campaigns (SEM)

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Discovery).
  • Conduct keyword research, ad copy creation, A/B testing, and bid management.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to improve CTR, quality scores, and conversion rates.

2. SEO & Organic Growth

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve AIM’s organic visibility.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blogs for higher rankings.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend improvements for site performance.

3. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and CRM dashboards.
  • Generate regular performance reports highlighting KPIs such as CPL, ROAS, and lead quality.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve funnel efficiency and digital ROI.

4. Collaboration & Funnel Integration

  • Work closely with the admissions team to ensure quality lead flow.
  • Coordinate with content, design, and social media teams for integrated campaigns.
  • Align campaigns with academic calendars, admission cycles, and program launches.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated with the latest search engine trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
  • Experiment with new ad formats, automation tools, and AI-driven optimization.
  • Benchmark performance against competitors and suggest innovative approaches.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of

    Google Ads, SEO, SEM, and PPC strategies

    Google Analytics, GTM, Search Console, and CRM tools

  • Ability to manage budgets, track ROI, and optimize for conversions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in search marketing (education sector experience preferred).
  • Google Ads & Analytics certifications highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and ROI-focused campaigns.
