Position Overview

We are seeking a data-driven and experienced SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic search visibility, drive qualified traffic, and boost online sales for our international e-commerce website. You will be instrumental in expanding our brand's reach to a global audience and ensuring our beautiful products are discoverable by customers around the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Implementation: Develop, execute, and manage a robust SEO strategy tailored for a global e-commerce business, encompassing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value search terms and opportunities for growth in various international markets.
• On-Page Optimization: Optimize all website elements, including product pages, category pages, blog content, landing pages, meta descriptions, title tags, headers, and image alt-tags to improve search rankings.
• Technical SEO: Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to site architecture, crawlability, indexing, schema markup, site speed, and mobile-friendliness. Collaborate with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
• Content Strategy: Work closely with the content creation team to develop an SEO-focused content calendar and ensure all new content is optimized for search engines.
• Link Building: Design and execute effective off-page SEO campaigns to build high-quality, relevant backlinks from authoritative sources to increase domain authority.
• Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, track, and report on key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on performance data.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure our strategy remains effective and competitive.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist, with a strong preference for experience in an e-commerce environment.
• Demonstrable success in improving organic search rankings and increasing website traffic.
• Proficiency with industry-standard SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
• Expertise in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO principles, including website architecture, structured data, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
