Senior SEO Executive

Role Overview

As a Senior SEO Executive, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, search rankings, and lead generation from the UK market.

This is a high-impact role for someone who is proactive, analytical, and well-versed in modern SEO tools and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage SEO strategies aligned with business goals and target markets (UK)
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and topic mapping
• Optimise website content, metadata, internal linking, schema, and site structure
• Collaborate with writers and designers to develop SEO-focused content
• Execute and monitor link-building campaigns (directories, outreach, guest posting, PR)
• Perform regular technical SEO audits and implement fixes (crawlability, page speed, mobile, etc.)
• Monitor KPIs through Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog
• Keep up with algorithm updates and ensure SEO practices remain compliant and competitive
• Support local SEO and schema development for service pages
• Work with the marketing manager to align SEO strategy with paid campaigns and content funnels
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum

  6 years of SEO experience

  with measurable results
• Proven success in

  ranking and growing organic traffic

  in competitive industries
• Strong knowledge of technical, content, and off-page SEO
• Proficiency with tools like

  Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, Clarity

• Familiarity with

  WordPress, schema markup, and basic HTML/CSS

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with content and design teams
• Experience working with international (UK or US) markets preferred
• Must be detail-oriented, data-driven, and outcome-focused
