Role Description


We are looking for a results-driven SEO Executive with hands-on experience in both On-Page and Off-Page SEO. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of backlink building, guest posting, digital PR, and content-led SEO strategies, along with solid fundamentals of on-page optimisation.


This role is ideal for someone who understands that SEO today is about quality, relevance, and authority, not shortcuts.


Key Responsibilities


Off-Page SEO (Primary Focus)

  • Plan and execute high-quality backlink strategies
  • Perform guest posting outreach on relevant and authoritative websites
  • Build links through content-based methods (editorial links, niche placements)
  • Manage digital PR activities for brand visibility and authority
  • Identify and collaborate with bloggers, publishers, and media platforms
  • Monitor backlink profiles and ensure link quality
  • Remove or disavow toxic or spammy backlinks when required


On-Page SEO

  • Conduct on-page optimisation for blogs, category pages, and landing pages
  • Optimise meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, and URLs
  • Implement keyword mapping and avoid keyword cannibalisation
  • Work closely with content writers to ensure SEO-friendly content
  • Optimise images, schema basics, and page structure
  • Ensure SEO best practices are followed across the website


SEO Research & Analysis

  • Perform keyword research and competitor analysis
  • Identify content and backlink gaps
  • Track rankings, traffic, and backlink growth
  • Prepare simple, actionable SEO reports (not tool-heavy reports)


Collaboration & Execution

  • Coordinate with content, outreach, and marketing teams
  • Support SEO campaigns for multiple projects or clients
  • Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience
  • Strong knowledge of off-page SEO (backlinks, guest posts, PR)
  • Working understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals
  • Experience with guest posting outreach & publisher communication
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like:
  1. Google Search Console
  2. Google Analytics
  3. Ahrefs/SEMrush/Similar tools
  • Basic understanding of content strategy and internal linking
  • Ability to analyse data and execute improvements
  • Experience with content marketing or digital PR
  • Understanding of Ecommerce SEO or service-based SEO
  • Knowledge of local SEO (optional)
  • Exposure to schema, site audits, or technical SEO basics
