Do you have a knack for technology? Are you at your best when supporting others?We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master & Agile Project Lead to join our technology team in a mission-critical financial environment. As a Scrum Master, you will lead Agile teams (Pods) through the delivery lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices. This role is ideal for someone who has a proven track record as a servant leader, removing impediments, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement in regulated industries such as banking or financial services. You will also support Agile transformation initiatives across the Stream.
Your team
You’ll be joining the Operating Systems and Middleware (OSM) crew, a globally distributed team that supports critical infrastructure across time zones using a follow-the-sun support model. Based in Pune, this role is embedded in a collaborative Agile environment where engineers are empowered to take ownership, innovate, and continuously improve.We value transparency, shared responsibility, and continuous learning. You’ll work alongside talented engineers who are passionate about building reliable systems and solving complex problems.
Your expertise
- Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
- Guide the team to deliver high-quality increments that meet the Definition of Done.
- Embed Agile@UBS practices including backlog grooming, sprint burndowns, burnups, and reporting.
- Coach and mentor team members to adopt Agile values and become self-organizing and high-performing.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the Product Backlog.
- Promote a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive Agile best practices and support Agile maturity across the organization.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of Scrum ceremonies and Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Kanban, XP).
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab using Agile metrics and reporting tools to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience in coaching Agile teams and facilitating Agile transformation.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), and CI/CD pipelines can be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile metrics and reporting (e.g., cycle time, flow efficiency)
