Scrum Master

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to drive Agile delivery, foster continuous improvement, and ensure alignment between technology and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead one or more Agile teams as a

  Scrum Master

  , facilitating Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Act as a

  techno-functional liaison

  — translating business requirements into technical goals and ensuring delivery aligns with organizational objectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage product backlogs, define user stories, and prioritize sprint deliverables.
• Champion

  Agile values

  and best practices, ensuring adherence to frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Identify and address impediments that hinder team progress and escalate when necessary.
• Track and report on team performance metrics, ensuring delivery commitments are met.
• Promote

  continuous improvement

  , retrospection, and adoption of Agile maturity across the organization.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Architecture, and Business teams to ensure seamless, quality-driven releases.
• Contribute to Agile process enhancements and play an active role in Agile community-of-practice forums.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7–8 years of total experience in IT/Software Development, including

  4+ years as a Scrum Master

  .
• Hands-on experience working in

  payment solutions

  ,

  BFSI

  ,

  retail

  , or

  healthcare

  domains.
• Strong

  techno-functional understanding

  of enterprise systems and business workflows.
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using tools like

  Jira

  Confluence

  , or

  Azure DevOps

• Proven ability to coach teams on Agile principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Strong

  process orientation

  with experience driving efficiency, quality, and Agile compliance.
• Relevant certifications preferred:

  Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

  Certified SAFe Scrum Master

  PMI-ACP

  , or equivalent.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation strategies.
• Experience in scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).

• Understanding of digital payment platforms, retail POS systems, or core banking solutions.
